Renewable #hydrogen is a key player in combating climate change, aligning with the EU’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050. The EU is investing a whopping 470 billion euros in hydrogen tech, projecting up to 1 million jobs by 2050.

Transport represents almost a quarter of Europe’s greenhouse gas emissions and is the main cause of air pollution in cities. To tackle CO2 emission in the transport system, The Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) paves the way for more hydrogen refueling stations across Europe, meaning hydrogen refuelling stations serving both cars and lorries must be deployed from 2030 onwards in all urban nodes. A game-changer in reducing the carbon footprint.

Let’s talk about the Nordic Hydrogen Corridor, led by Vätgas Sverige, a stellar EU initiative. This project isn’t just about infrastructure—it’s a journey towards zero-emission transport and connecting Europe through hydrogen production, vehicles, and refueling stations. The potential is massive! 🚗⚡

Join us at #Vätgaskonferensen at Stockholmsmässan on December 5-6, where we’ll delve deeper into the Nordic Hydrogen Corridor and discuss the exciting journey ahead. Don’t miss the opportunity on Tuesday December 5, 2.30pm to gain insights into the transformative potential of hydrogen, emphasizing its significance in shaping a sustainable future. We are thrilled to share our vision and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the crucial role hydrogen plays in steering us towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.

Vätgaskonferensen is proudly arranged by EnergiforskLuleå tekniska universitetRISE Research Institutes of SwedenVätgas SverigeEnergigas Sverige and Energiföretagen Sverige.
